18 December 2005 Nativity Play

The Nativity Play was based on a New Zealand skit found on the internet. It addresses the problem of refugees. As Matthew pointed out in his sermon, Our Lord was a refugee as a baby when his parents were forced to flee to Egypt to save him from King Herod.



The skit was skilfully adapted by Jacqui and enthusiastically performed by young people from our church. Their delivery was articulate for the most part. It was clear that all the teachers and children had put a lot of work into it, and to good effect!
