The Church regards the Bible as the ultimate source of authority under God. The following are the fundamental tenets of the Church: the Trinity of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; God as Creator; Jesus as the Son of God; the Resurrection of Jesus; and the continuing influence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We classify Holy Communion and Baptism as Sacraments, believing them to have been uniquely instituted by Jesus.

The new Scripture Union magazines have arrived!

On Sunday 15 January, John Fisher will place the teachers' books and activity magazines on the shelves at the far end of the hall (Celia/Siân corner) in six labelled bags corresponding to the six teaching groups. I have left the 2005 magazines because there is still some good unused material in them so don't get mixed up with the bags!

I have put the names of regular teachers on the teachers' books. There is usually one spare copy to give to occasional teachers. Please take your named teacher's copy home with you so you have it handy for preparation!

The numbers of activity magazines may not always match your class size. This is because I discovered that it was cheaper to order a Church Pack, plus extras if need be. For the same reason Karen, Catherine and Caroline have for the first time a whole set of Bubbles and Sia and Jacqui have a new set of The Grid.

Remember to look at the Scripture Union site to see what useful resource material is available.

The access code this term is 44yj36
