The Church regards the Bible as the ultimate source of authority under God. The following are the fundamental tenets of the Church: the Trinity of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; God as Creator; Jesus as the Son of God; the Resurrection of Jesus; and the continuing influence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We classify Holy Communion and Baptism as Sacraments, believing them to have been uniquely instituted by Jesus.
Linda left us with plenty to think about and also a stack of documentation to look at including “Godly Play” http://www.godlyplay.org.uk/ which is a Montessori method of asking “wondering” questions and leaving room for open responses. (How many children know that the bets are on that the answer to any question has to be either “God” or “Jesus” in traditional educational settings!)
