The Church regards the Bible as the ultimate source of authority under God. The following are the fundamental tenets of the Church: the Trinity of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; God as Creator; Jesus as the Son of God; the Resurrection of Jesus; and the continuing influence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We classify Holy Communion and Baptism as Sacraments, believing them to have been uniquely instituted by Jesus.

18 September

18 September is Car Free Sunday.
Two classes are doubled up on that day.

Karen is taking the 3 - 4 year olds,
Julie is taking the 5 - 6 year olds,
Christiana is taking 7/8 and 9/10 year olds and
Graeme is taking the 11/13 and 14+.

We open on 11 SEPTEMBER.

I hope you are all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed after the summer vacation!
I'm attending a wedding in Scotland on 10 September.

On that day, according to our planning meeting,
Karen is taking the 3-4 year olds
Celia is taking the 5-6 year olds
Sarah is taking the 7-8 year olds
Jacqui is taking the 9-10 year olds
Sia is taking the 11-13 year olds and
Graeme is taking the 14-18 year olds.

This year we are trying to open up a class for the 14-18 year olds.
It may be that there won't be enough young people on that first Sunday to open a class so Sia and Graeme will have to play it by ear. However, we have to start sometime. It is a chicken and egg situation and we have to provide for our chicks before the fly the nest!
