As Lordi himself said

Think about it, a rock band just won a pop song contest. This is weird, strange, interesting.

I was relieved to read that Lordi was also quoted as saying

“For the millionth time, we’re not Satanists or devil worshippers”

but why, oh why, are the kids so attracted to this stuff?
Lordi also recorded "The devil is a loser".
